One of South America’s most under the radar destinations, Bolivia is rugged, beautiful, and filled with adventure, home to the spectacular Andes mountains which slope down into dense jungles and otherworldly desert landscapes. One of the world’s most biodiverse countries, it boasts an abundance of rare flora and fauna, whilst Scientists continue to discover new species amongst its unspoiled forests to this day.
Over half of Bolivia’s residents identify as being part of an indeginous group (the largest percentage of any South American country), and their traditions and customs remain central to Bolivian culture, exemplified in all aspects of everyday life, and in the colorful parades which take place throughout the year.
There are no direct flights from the UK to Bolivia. However Iberia operates regular direct flights from Madrid to La Paz, or alternatively fly via Miami, Buenos Aires or Sao Paulo.
Due to the diverse landscapes and altitudes, the weather in Bolivia varies depending on region. However, generally speaking May - October is the driest period and therefore the best time to visit.
We recommend a minimum of 8 days.
If you are a UK national you do not require a visa to enter Bolivia, and may stay there for 30 days. This can be extended for a further 30 days providing you submit an application at the Department of Immigration offices.
Rob was a fantastic guide. The trip was very enjoyable and Robs knowledge and expertise were great. Would defo recommend
Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!
