Stand among the magnificent mountains, and witness glaciers slide apart like melting ice cubes. Penguins can be found squabbling in mass colonies and seals can be spotted belly sliding across the ice for a quick plunge. Whilst the harsh terrain and conditions make it one of the most difficult habitats to survive, the communities of wildlife, long distance migration of whales and flocks of seabirds make it feel as though it's teeming with life and personality.
As we big farewell to the epic icy white playground of Antarctica we head back through Drake Passage, a sacred leg of the journey for polar explorers. Relax in the Nordic Spa and share photos and stories with your crew mates, drink a few cold ones in the Aquavit Bar or simply learn more about this iconic waterway en-route back to South America.

Finally we return to the "End of the Earth" as it's known, in Ushuaia the world's most southernmost city. We'll say farewell to our crewmates and team leaders, and aboard a charter flight to Argentina's bright and beaming capital, Buenos Aires. Here you'll be free to stay in Argentina and explore further still, or head back home to share the ethereal tale you've been on with your friends and loved ones.
