Day 2

We’ll start the day early with a flight to San Carlos de Bariloche in Northern Patagonia. Lovingly referred to as the Lake District of Argentina, we’ll swiftly dip into a half-day tour amid the picturesque town.

We’ll coast along the azure waters of Nahuel Huapi Lake, with stops along the way at the gorgeous Bahía López and López Bay. Our tour will culminate at the crest of Cerro Campanario for panoramic views of the surrounding forests and snow-capped peaks.

Day 3

Spend a free day in the gorgeous town of Bariloche. Swiss-inspired alpine architecture surrounded by the Andes mountains, a truly fairytale landscape to pursue at your leisure. You’ll have the freedom to amble through dense untamed forests and dip your toes into the icy waters of glacial lakes.

For those with an addiction to adrenaline, perhaps white-water rafting on the proximity of the Chilean border is the best way to spend your day! The town is also famous for chocolate, so foodies and those with a sweet tooth rejoice.

Day 4

After a few days, we have the privilege of embarking on the famous Andean Lakes Crossing, connecting the neighbouring countries of Argentina and Chile through a lattice of volcano fringed lakes.

Glide past Nahuel Huapi Lake, Lake Frías, and Todos los Santos Lake. This is without question one of the world’s most stunning border crossings and a bookmark of your travels that you’ll be able to reminisce on for years to come. We arrive in Chile and take a transfer to our hotel in Puerto Varas.

Patagonia

Day 5

Explore this stunning town in your own free-time today. Sitting on the southwest banks of the mammoth Lake Llanquihue, offering piercing views of the snow-capped Osorno Volcano and Calbuco Volcano. A short ferry ride will take you to Chiloé Island, a fishing village teetering over the water on wooden stilts. We’ll also have the chance to mingle with a nearby penguin colony.

For a more subtle but equally spectacular day, head to Chile’s first national park, Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. Hike the Desolation Pass trail and ascend ice-clad slopes of Osorno Volcano.

Torresdelpaine

Day 6

Fly to the world-famous Torres del Paine National Park. This unique UNESCO Biosphere reserve is one of the most spectacular parks the world over. A sweeping expanse littered with glaciers, lush green forests, and lagoons that sparkle like malachite.

The serrated edges of the surrounding mountain range pierce the sky, with a raw and untamed humility that encapsulates the beauty of the region.

Torresdelpainboat

Day 7

We’ll dig deeper into the roots of Torres del Paine National park with an expert guide who will help illuminate the majestic details that make the park so special. A van will transport us across the untethered landscape and hop out to get an intimate feel for the park’s most prominent features. Grey Lake, Grey Glacier, Azul Lagoon and other key landmarks will be fully explored.

Wildlife here is as varied as the flora and fauna itself, with the skies being carved up by gracious eagles, and the soil providing hunting grounds for foxes. There's even an indigenous type of Ostrich!

Losglaciores

Day 8

Today we drive through stunning panoramas to find ourselves in El Calafat, Argentina, where we’ll explore Los Glaciares, National Park. Teeming with glaciers including the monumental Perito Moreno Glacier, this is truly a postcard-worthy landmark that is as instantly recognisable.

Losglaciores2

Day 9

Today we’ll have the chance to learn more about the epic Los Glaciares National Park with a local glacier expert who will talk us through the intricate ecosystem and point out the intricacies as we view Perito Moreno Glacier. We have the opportunity to take a boat ride along the glacier’s front and get up close and personal with one of nature’s most spectacular monuments.

Ushuaia

Day 10

Fly to the world’s southernmost city, Ushuaia. Nestled high above the bewildering beauty of Patagonia, we’ll have the chance to visit the Maritime Museum, a former prison that housed seafarers and criminals at “the end of the world”. Alternatively we can traverse Tierra del Fuego National Park, another eye-watering beautiful slice of Patagonia.

Patagoniapenguins

Day 11

Today we venture over the Beagle Channel on a catamaran cruise. Coast by charming landmarks such as Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and Seal Island, where we can watch these quirky mammals squabble and shout from the water's edge.

We’ll also pass Bird Island home to countless nesting seabirds. Later we’ll pass by Martillo Island and get within touching distance of the Magellanic penguins that inhabit the island. Few strait crossings boast so many spectacular sights.

Tangoargentina

Day 12

We head back to the capital of Argentina today and settle down in Buenos Aires for the remainder of our trip. Argentina’s eclectic capital has a charm that is difficult to put into words. It’s not nearly as crowded as some of it’s South American counterparts yet maintains all of the soulful energy that cities like Rio De Janeiro and Mexico City are famous for.

We’ll dip our toes into the classical 8 step rhythms of tango with a tango lesson at a popular dance venue. We’ll get to loosen our hips and practice our moves with the locals and display them during a milonga (a social dancing event).

Buenosaierestrees

Day 13

We explore the intricacies of Buenos Aires on a city tour today and visit the essential landmarks of Plazo de Mayo and the Pink Balcony. We’ll also discover the quirkiest neighbourhoods including San Telmo and the kaleidoscopic, street art decorated La Boca.

This evening is our last, so go out on a wild party to celebrate, or use your newly cemented tango skills and dance the night away.
