Visit The Sydney Opera House

The most memorable way to see the Sydney Opera House is to experience a show inside.

The Jewel Of Sydney

The white, distinctive roof of the Sydney Opera House is unmissable from even across the harbour. It opened in 1973 and has 1.2 million people visit it each year. Inside, 1,500 shows are put on annually and it caters for every taste, it’s not just operas!

You can even enjoy a cruise around the harbour from the Opera House entrance. Finish with dinner inside and show, and it’ll make for an unforgettable experience.

If you visit around May/June, you’re in for an extra treat. The festival ‘Vivid Sydney’ takes place in the city where the Opera House and other buildings in the harbour come alive with light installations.

Faq?

Whilst originally estimated at just $7 million, the total sum was in excess of $100 million – so just a bit over budget! This still stands as the biggest record in history.

Another attraction is the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, nicknamed "The Coathanger". A truly stunning, hertiage-listed bridge which you won’t be able to miss!

Between April and May, the weather will have gotten much warmer but the prices won’t have become expensive yet.
