Papua New Guinea

Perhaps the best known, the Huli and Duna, are renowned for their traditional dress, body art, and ceremonial rituals whilst the Asaro tribe’s unique, traditional costumes include masks made from mud.

Botswana

One of Africa’s oldest indigenous groups, The San, or as they’re sometimes known ‘The Bushmen’, share a deep connection with the lands of Southern Africa.

Which is central to their enduring cultural practices and traditions. Though they inhabit a number of countries, the largest modern-day community is found in Botswana, and joining the group on a walk offers a fascinating insight into their traditional way of life which has allowed them to adapt and sustain themselves in this often harsh environment.
