Nevis Bungee, New Zealand

The Nevis Highwire bungee jump is a spectacular jump, which is from a cabin. It's not the most sturdy starting point like a bridge and a dam, meaning that your nerves as you get into the cable car and dangle above the Nevis River can be somewhat increased.

Height: 134 Metres

Now if you have watched the film Goldeneye, which is often seen as one of the best films in a certain spy series you will remember a very famous opening scene where a little plane flies into a valley, with a huge concrete dam taking up the vast majority of the cinema screen. Faq?

Despite there being no firm law in place, the general age permitted is 18.

If it wasn't we wouldn't recommend it! Of course you should be warey of jumping if you have any serious heart conditions or issues with your joints such as chronic back or neck pain, but for most healthy adults it's completely safe.

The shorter the wait the better, if you here a countdown... go on 1! Wear comfortable clothes so you're not filled with adrenaline and being wedgied at the same time. And take a mate, it's good to have someone who can tell other just how terrified your face was before you leapt.
