Itinerary

5 Large

Pen-y-Ghent

The first peak we'll tackle is the 694-metre-tall Pen-y-Ghent, renowned for its unique shape. From its summit, we'll enjoy sweeping views of the rugged, lush surroundings, including, our next two peaks, Whernside and Ingleborough.

6 Large

Whernside

Our second peak of the day is the tallest in all of the Yorkshire Dales, the dramatic, 736-metre-high Whernside. Along the long, steady climb we'll enjoy beautiful verdant landscapes, and cascading waterfalls, before reaching the summit, where we'll take in sweeping views across the Dales, and if it's clear, the Lake District and Morecambe Bay.

Ingleborough

Our final challenge of the day is Ingleborough, a striking, 723-metre high peak, known as 'The Hollow Mountain', due to the vast network of caves. Reaching the summit we'll enjoy the breathtaking views and the immense sense of euphoria at completing our challenge!

Victory meal

After making our way back to Ribblesdale, we'll head to a traditional local pub and enjoy a well-deserved victory meal washed down with a few beers, before heading home (hopefully with our victory medals intact!)

Lead Guide

Faq?

We provide all users with an 8-week plan. This is optional but for anyone who isn't experienced in hill walking, this is highly recommended. For people with a base level of fitness and some warm-up training, this is very achievable.

The meeting point is the village of Horton-in Ribblesdale, where we'll begin and end our journey.

We try our very best to get every member to finish. To increase your chances of this take the challenge seriously and follow the training plan. However, if due to injury or any issue don't worry we have staff to solve matters and keep you safe.

A hard-earned victory meal and a 'Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge' medal to take home and cherish.
