2019 will be the 41st edition of the Dakar rally, with the course being entirely in South America's Peru. This incredible rally will take people on a loop throughout the desert.
The Dakar Rally has been an endurance race with beginnings as far back as 1977. The story goes that Thierry Sabine got lost while on his motorbike in the Libyan desert during a rally.
Since then there have been different courses for this rally going past Gizeh Pyramids, and now has found it's way to Peru.
2019 runs over 5,000km and will be running on 70% sand, and has 5 classifications running side by side including Cars, Motorbikes, Quads and Trucks, this is one for all motorsport lovers.
