One of National Geographic's 20 best treks in the world, the Laugavegur Trail stretches for some 55km across the Southern Icelandic highlands encompassing some of the most breathtaking scenery the incredible island has on offer.
From rainbow-hued mountains to geothermal springs, picturesque waterfalls, lush canyons, glaciers, and charcoal-black lava fields, this unique trail truly has it all, it's easy to see why it was rumoured to be the inspiration behind J.R.R Tolkien's Middle Earth!
Although some hikers complete the trail in just 2 days, we recommend between 3 and 4 days.
Although the trail can be challenging, reasonably fit hikers with some trekking experience should have no issues completing it.
Mid-June through to early September offers the best weather conditions, though even during this period, at times, you can expect it to be cold, wet, and windy.
There are mountain huts and campsites along the trail most of which are run by the Icelandic Touring Association, Ferðafélag Íslands.

Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!

The unnerving symmetry of Stonehenge is just one of the many mysteries each visitor attempts to unravel.
Traverse the whole length of Great Britain from Southwest to Northeast. If you chose to take the challenge up on foot, bring comfy shoes for the 1,200 mile journey.
