One of Africa’s most spectacular landmarks, the Ngorongoro Crater is a vast, unbroken caldera brimming with wildlife
Often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible density of animals, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and thousands of wildebeest and zebras. The crater was formed by a massive volcanic eruption over two million years ago, and today, it offers an unparalleled safari experience. With diverse ecosystems, stunning landscapes, and year-round wildlife viewing, it’s an unmissable destination for nature lovers.

Make My TripThe crater is a year-round destination, but the dry season (June to October) is best for wildlife viewing. The wet season (November to May) offers lush landscapes and fewer crowds.
While self-driving is possible, hiring a guide is highly recommended to navigate the terrain and maximize wildlife sightings.
The Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo) are all found here, along with hippos, zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, and more.
Yes! The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is well-managed, and guided safaris ensure a safe and unforgettable experience.
UK travelers can reach Ngorongoro Crater by flying from London to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). From JRO, it's approximately a 3.5-hour drive to the crater. Pre-arranging transfers is recommended
Rob was a fantastic guide. The trip was very enjoyable and Robs knowledge and expertise were great. Would defo recommend
Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!
