British Airways offer direct flights from London Gatwick to San Jose Airport twice weekly. Alternatively, you may choose to change in one of the many US cities which serve the Costa Rican capital, such as New York City, Los Angeles or Atlanta.
The driest and sunniest period is between mid-December and April, though this is also peak tourist season and prices are at their highest. July and August are slightly wetter months, but there is still generally plenty of sun, and the prices are usually much lower.
We recommend a minimum of 10 days, which will give you enough time to experience some of the country’s major highlights whilst also allowing for travel time between destinations.
If you are a UK national you do not require a visa to enter Costa Rica and may remain there for up to 90 days under a tourist visa waiver.

Excellent service from start to finish.
