Where to celebrate Burns Night 2022

A celebration of the life and work of Scotland's most famous wordsmith, Robert Burns, the aptly-named Burns Night is held annually on Jan 25th (the poet's birthday). It typically involves a traditional Scottish supper, washed down with a whisky (or two), followed by some singing, dancing, and recitation of his best-loved works.

Edinburgh

What better place to celebrate the life of Scotland's national poet than in the country's capital? Every Jan 25th (and the preceding days), Edinburgh comes alive with a plethora of Burns Night celebrations, and this year will be no different. Simply book yourself a table at one of the city's great pubs or traditional eateries and gobble and guzzle the night away!

With over 300 malts on offer alongside some delicious Scottish cuisine, the Whiski Rooms is a great place to start, whilst the Arcade Bar on the picturesque, cobbled Cockburn Street is one of the oldest bars in all of Edinburgh, and is devoted to whisky and haggis, offering the latter in all manner of ways!
