Hotel Chain “The Pig” Announces Reopening Dates & Includes Awesome New Property In Statement
The Pig is one of Brits best boutique hotel chains, and it recently announced it will be reopening fully by July 4th.
Whilst it’s unlikely to resume to it’s usual volume of guests, you can expect the same warm and friendly hospitality and attention to detail from the staff.
The Pig at Harlyn Bay is a new hotel in the heart of Cornwall. The planned opening is July 31st, and who knows what changes could be made to the travel sector by that time. It is however looking popular as 995 room nights were booked when the reservation lines were last open earlier this year.
New measures will be taken to ensure the safety of workers and guests alike in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic. Extensive hygiene measures will be in place, as well as PPE for staff who will be interacting with guests. Staff will also be screened upon arrival to the workplace.
The Hotel Sector Is Slowly Reopening
Check-ins will take place later in the day to give the hotel staff more time to clean the rooms and ensure everything is up to the new sanitary standards put in place.
The dining area will be arranged with extra spacing between tables and hand sanitisers will be provided. There will also be a staggered seating arrangement whereby guests will book a breakfast time rather than arriving on a whim.
In a press release by The Pig it was stated: “Maintaining a physical distance from others is absolutely essential to stop the spread of the virus, but we believe it does not mean we can’t be sociable!”
It’s yet another thread of news in an ever growing tapestry of press releases showing the travel sector slowly regaining it’s footing after being knocked off of it’s feet by the pandemic. Good news for travellers everywhere.
